Produce is in abundance in the Grocery Stores, Markets, and Backyard Gardens. Remember, you can use your Vege-Saver over and over again. Once you have stored salads, vegetables, or produce in the Vege-Saver and it becomes soiled, simply wash with your other towels or linens.

TIP: Do not use fabric softener when washing or dryer sheets when drying your Vege-Saver. Though neither are harmful to your produce, it can possibly cause your salad greens, carrots, etc. to take on the scent from the softener or dryer sheets.

We suggest line drying your Vege-Saver outside in the fresh air and sunshine or hung over a drying rack inside. Your Vege-Saver will also last longer--dryers can be hard on the Terry Cloth.

DID YOU KNOW?  Storing some vegetables together can cause them to go bad or rot sooner. Never store apples near potatoes. As potatoes get older, they let off a gas that will cause the apples to rot. Also avoid storing potatoes with onions because, when close together, they produce gases that spoil both.
