Picnics are in abundance as the late summer days are still sunny and hot. A  Vege-Saver can be one of the best ingredients for a worry-free, fun picnic!

TIP: Use Vege-Savers  to keep fresh fruit and vegetables FRESH and CRISP when you plan a picnic. By wetting your Vege-Saver and placing fresh cut up carrots and celery, fresh radish, other bite-size vege's, cantaloupe, peaches, apples, and other picnic fruits, you will extend their time outside in the warm temperatures.

The Vege-Saver creates a cooler, damp, environment so the produce you pack for snacking, salad, and desserts will withstand the heat. Prepare your produce at home and place in a wet Vege-Saver and store in your cooler until you set out your picnic.

DID YOU KNOW?  Put a freshly unwrapped stick of mint flavored gum on the side of your plate at your next picnic -- it keeps those pesky flies away from your food! Wash a milk, juice or water jug and fill with water to take to a picnic so hands can be washed before eating and after clean up. Old sheets make good outdoor picnic table cloths.
